Saskvalley Shorthorns heading

Saskvalley Navajo and cows on pasture

Saskvalley Stock Farm is situated in the parkland area of Saskatchewan approximately 40 miles north of Saskatoon.  We run about 150 head of purebred Shorthorn females and maintain a commercial herd of 400 cows.  Our only goal with the purebred herd of cattle is to supply our commercial herd and our customer’s commercial herds with quality Shorthorn bulls.   In our opinion, all other ventures with purebred livestock are purely recreational.

We hold an annual bull sale, in partnership with Bell M Farms and Muridale Shorthorns, on the first Thursday of every April at Saskatoon Livestock Sales.  If you are looking for some low-maintenance genetics that can survive in the real world of beef production we would encourage you to visit this site.
