Herdsires
We like to select herd bulls out of easy-fleshing, fertile mother cows. After all, a bull’s daughters usually end up looking like his mother. As a maternal breeder we spend considerable effort making sure our sires can produce honest, hard-working cows. We also expect them to sire calves with acceptable performance and carcass traits.
